15 tracks for a total length of 45 minutes feature on 'entre siempre y jamas suben las mareas, duermen las ciudades'
('between always and never the tides raise, the cities sleep' in English). Haunting melodies, the distinctive voices
of Demian and Juergen singing in Spanish (except 'Héroes' sung in German; 'Siento Sensacion' and 'Perdedoros' sung
partly in English), the discrete but nonetheless indispensable feminine voice of Frl. Tost. (exquisite on 'Iberia
Sumergida'), the subtle presence of string instruments, some samples of the sea... all these elements are present
to immerge the listener in a timeless moment, between dreams and reality, past and present...
Though the entire album is enjoyable, some songs deserve to be mentioned as they are amongst the best Novy Svet & Ô
Paradis tracks I have ever heard... 'La Cuna' with its false but giddy rhythm aided by Demian's enchanting voice singing
in Spanish whereas Juergen's distinctive voice underlines some precise moments... the excellent 'Sienta Sensacion', a
title featuring on the A side of the 7" picture-disc and 'Perdedoros', full of melancholy and sadness... All are pure gems!
Words to describe the musical atmosphere of this record do not really exist... both of these formations being unique,
the same term suits this collaboration album... and be sure that if you like both these personal, original and very
talented projects, you will also be attracted by this marvellous split album...
The totally white CD comes in a simple digipack with a very sad cover featuring the photo of a dead dog's corpse
revealed by the tides...
A highly recommended release that Ô Paradis & Novy Svet admirers and others can't afford to overlook.

All recordings took place during the second half of 2002 and were mixed in early 2003 by Demian and J. Weber.
This is definitely a true collaboration as one can't really say which one of these two formations had a bigger
influence on this record. Both projects brought their unique essence in this recording and the complicity perceived
on the 7" picture-disc expresses itself totally here...
